“Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,” she began, which means “Purity belongs to Waheguru, victory belongs to Waheguru,” before addressing the question.

“The Sikh community goes all the way back to before Alberta was even a province. Sikhs have been here growing and building Alberta, and that’s part of the reason why we want to save the Dashmesh Cultural Centre to grow and build,” the Premier said, while listing the grants her government has given to the controversial community centre.
